Mailing Dates

We mail using Canada Post mail. Your first letter ships in 3 business days via Canada Post with tracking and takes 2-5 business days to arrive after shipping (5-8 business days total). After that, remaining letters are mailed on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month with delivery within 2 weeks for Canadian orders or 6 weeks for international orders. 

How does the new delivery of first letters and leather folders work?

Letters Only:
The first letter will be shipped via Canada Post with tracking and will be enclosed in a kraft cardboard envelope. It will be shipped within three business days, with an estimated delivery time of 2–5 days after shipment within Canada (total transit time: 5–8 days). International orders have an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the letter has been shipped.

The first letter will have the story title printed on the envelope, while all subsequent letters will display the recipient’s name.

Please note that the remaining letters will be sent via regular mail and will not include tracking information.

Leather Folder + Letters:
The first letter will be included inside the folder, and shipped via Canada Post with tracking. It will be shipped within three business days, with an estimated delivery time of 2–5 days after shipment within Canada (total transit time: 5–8 days). International orders have an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the letter has been shipped.

The first letter will have the story title printed on the envelope, while all subsequent letters will display the recipient’s name instead.

Please note that the remaining letters will be sent via regular mail and will not include tracking information.

How do I change the address of my order?

Please reach out to support@onceuponaletter.ca within three business days of placing the order, and we will be able to send the first letter via Canada Post with tracking. If the notification is made after this period, the first letter would have already been sent to the former address, so we will resend another letter via Express Mail.

What happens if I don’t receive my first letter?

Please reach out to support@onceuponaletter.ca. Another first letter will be resent Express mail within three business days and is expected to be delivered within approximately two weeks for Canadian orders and six weeks for international orders.

Will all the letters be sent with tracking?

No, only the first letter will be shipped via Canada Post with tracking. The remaining letters will be sent via regular mail, and therefore, tracking will not be available for those letters.

What will be the schedule of the remaining letters?

The remaining letters are generally mailed on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month and are expected to be delivered within approximately two weeks for Canada. orders and six weeks for international orders.

Will this be available for international customers?

Yes! The first letter or first letter + tin will be shipped to our international customers within three business days, and have an estimated delivery time of 2-6 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the letter has been shipped.
